Christopher Columbus is so famous and he wasnt even the first to explore the new world. If Giovanni de Verrazzano was the first then he should be as famous as Columbus if not more. Also, he had 3 main voyages to different places before he died in 1528. Giovanni de Verrazzano was goin on the shore of Florida to greet the natives, but they wanted to trade.                                                  Reflection

Exploration in the 15th century in different and the same than space exploration in many ways. Both ways of exploration was dangerous. There was always a chance of death, and you dont know what your getting into. Also, there both for research. resources, and knowledge. There are also differences. In the 15th century they didn't no what could happen because there wasnt technology. In space they have technology so they can predict what can happen. When you go into space you know whats up their. On the sea in the 15th century anything could happen.
